Singapore – 10 April 2025– Whale TV, the world’s leading independent TV operating system maker, today announced the appointment of Michael Wang to its Board of Directors. Wang, a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in media and technology, will also serve as Chair of the company’s newly formed Strategic Partnership Committee.
Wang joins Whale TV following a 12-year tenure at Netflix, where he led global OEM partnerships and played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s footprint across device platforms. In his new role, Wang will focus on forging high-impact alliances to accelerate Whale TV’s international growth.

Prior to joining Whale TV, Wang held executive roles at Netflix, Magellan Discovery Corp, and CTC UnionCorp. He holds an MBA from National Chengchi University and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Ming Chuan University in Taipei.
