AMSTERDAM — 22nd September, 2026 — Whale TV, the leading independent TV OS, today announced that Spotify is now available on most Whale TV-powered TV sets. The integration brings Spotify’s full audio experience — including music, podcasts, and - where available - audiobooks and videos, to living rooms around the world. The launch reinforces Whale TV’s vision of the television as the entertainment hub in the living room.

With Spotify now onboard, consumers on Whale TV devices can explore Spotify’s vast global library, spanning over 100 million tracks, millions of podcasts, curated playlists, and video content.

“The TV is used for so much more than just watching TV these days,” said Lucas Huang, VP Content Distribution at Whale TV. “The biggest and brightest screen in the home is essentially the household’s entertainment hub, where video, music, and podcasts all live side by side. Bringing Spotify to Whale TV isn't just another app launch; it's about making big-screen audio entertainment effortlessly accessible in the living room.”

The launch highlights Whale TV’s accelerating global momentum as the leading independent TV OS. Whale TV powers more than 47.5M monthly active TVs worldwide across 400+ TV brand partners. Whale TV continues to expand its international footprint and broaden its ecosystem of TV brands, global and local content partners.
