Dr. Jack Gao, Chairman of Whale TV, Speaks at 2024 Sun Island Entrepreneurs Annual Conference on AI and Industry Innovation

From August 22 to 24, the 2024 Sun Island Entrepreneurs Annual Conference took place in Harbin, hosted by the Brand Work Office of Xinhua NewsAgency and the Harbin Municipal Government. Themed "New QualityProductivity: New Industries, New Models, New Momentum," the event attracted over 1,000 entrepreneurs, economists, and industry leaders from around the globe to discuss industrial upgrades and business innovations in a globalized context. 

Dr. Jack Gao, Chairman of Whale TV and representative from the smart home sector, participated in the main forum and engaged in the"Thinker Dialogue" alongside notable figures including Li Dongrong, former Vice Governor of the People's Bank of China, Liao Jiasheng, General Manager of China LogisticsGroup; Meng Pu, Chairman ofQualcomm China; and Wu Dongmei, Senior Vice President of Dell Technologies.

In his remarks on artificial intelligence, Dr. Gao highlighted its transformative impact, noting that AI has "broken the circle" in three key areas: revolutionizing creative industries through generative AI, bridging the digital divide in education, and enhancing industrial understanding of AI's value. He stated, "Technological innovation is a significant force driving industrial transformation," urging attendees to leverage AI advancements to boost productivity.

He further stated, "AI will determine the future direction of technology and industry. Those who possess the capabilities and applications of AI operators will hold the power for industrial transformation. Currently, both China and the United States are in a leading position. The traditional advantages, innovative ecosystems, academic research, and talent reserves of the U.S. are noteworthy, while China's advantage lies in utilizing new quality productivity to engage in competitionin the AI field, which in turn is an essential component of AI technology.

Dr. Gao also shared Whale TV's innovative initiatives in the smart home sector, stressing the need for companies to adapt to evolving market demands by exploring new business models. At the "Swan TechnologyInnovation Forum," he interacted with thousands of local entrepreneurs, discussing pathways for innovation and growth.

As a proponent of innovation-driven development, Dr. Gaore affirmed Whale TV's commitment to participating in industry transformation and contributing to the advancement of smart homes for a better quality of life.
