As we continue to grow, we are seeking a mid-level Ad Operations Specialist to help manage and optimize our ad delivery and revenue performance.

Role Overview

As an Ad Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution, monitoring, and optimization of digital ad campaigns across our CTV ecosystem. You will collaborate with internal teams, ad tech partners, and advertisers to ensure smooth campaign delivery, troubleshoot issues, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize programmatic and direct-sold ad campaigns across Whale TV’s CTV inventory.

• Work closely with DSPs, SSPs, and ad exchanges to maximize fill rates and CPMs.

• Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot delivery issues, and implement optimizations.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ads.txt, app-ads.txt, VAST, OpenRTB, etc.).

• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to enhance monetization strategies.

• Generate reports and insights for internal stakeholders and advertisers.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in digital ad operations, preferably in CTV or programmatic advertising.

• Strong understanding of ad serving, SSPs, DSPs, and programmatic buying.

• Familiarity with ad tech platforms such as SpringServe, FreeWheel, and Google Ad Manager.

• Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and troubleshooting delivery issues.

• Knowledge of ad formats, video ad standards (VAST, VMAP, OpenRTB), and brand safety tools.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Spoken and written fluency in English, Chinese and Spanish or Portguese.
